Obituary

Alice Eleanor Webster age 86 passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2020 from complications due to COVID-19 at Phelps Hospital in Sleepy Hollow New York. She was the loving wife of the late Robert E Webster Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Harry J Plante and Adela (Resowski).
She is survived by her children Robert E Webster Jr, Cheryl Anthony and husband Matt, Daniel Webster and wife Charlene, Allen Webster and wife Elise, a sister Joan Conway and a sister Judy Fehling and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Alice was a resident of Warwick RI for many years and worked as a license practical nurse at Cranston General Hospital for 18 years. While finishing her bachelor’s degree to become a registered nurse, she worked at the Veterans Hospital for 10 years and then 3 years at Rhode Island Hospital before retiring in 1995.
She was a devoted Catholic and active member of St Peters church where she served as a lector, lay eucharistic minister and adult funeral server. She loved volunteering at the church.
Alice was a loving, caring and compassionate person and we were blessed to share in her life. She lived a fulfilling life as a nurse, mother, sister, wife and friend. She loved family gatherings especially during the holidays. Some of her pastimes included sewing and knitting. The Patriots were her favorite football team and Tom Brady her favorite quarterback. She will be missed dearly.


Funeral Services have been entrusted to Quinn Funeral Home and can be viewed via Zoom Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 11 am, Meeting ID: 926 9042 5636. Interment will take place at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter by Quinn Funeral Home.
