Obituary

On Sunday morning, September 29, 2019, Allissa Marianna Ashley Robinson passed away in Newport, Rhode Island. Allissa was born on July 13, 1996 in Gallipolis, Ohio, to Dennis A. Robinson, Sr. and Amber J. (Strom) Robinson.

Allissa was an active member of Historic Baptist Church since 2010. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at a tent meeting in Michigan on June 5, 2012. She had a heart for the Lord and was always willing to serve in her church, the community, and other churches around the country. She loved singing with the youth choir and helping support other ministries.

Allissa loved fashion, clothes, hair bows, high heels, Jeffree Star lipsticks, and Converse sneakers. She was beautiful inside and out. Allissa loved all children, especially each and every one of the babies who called her “Auntie.” She couldn’t wait to have one of her own someday. Allissa was also an avid dog-lover and dog-sitter extraordinaire.

Allissa lit up a room upon entry. Her infectious laugh and smile would make any bad mood disappear. Her sense of humor will live on throughout our lives as we remember her sayings, comebacks, and nicknames that she gave out. Allissa gave amazing hugs and always let people know that she loved them through her words, messages, and hand-written letters.

Allissa was preceded in death by her father, Dennis A. Robinson, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Amber J. (Strom) Robinson, Grandparents, Jerry and Ida Day, sister and nephew, Clara Robinson and Cyrus Morales, brother, sister-in-law, and niece, Dennis, Maura, and Magnolia Robinson, sister, Ireal Strom, Mi Cha Silvia and children, Shelb Sekator and children, Misty Sherman and children, Russ Hebert and his wife Shanna, Destinee Warner, and Merissa Warner, aunt, Lee Strom, cousin, James, boyfriend Chip Bartberger, and many others that were as close as family.
