Barbara J. (Salisbury) Gardiner, 62, a lifelong resident of North Kingstown, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Russell “Russ” Gardiner, a daughter of the late Elmer E. Salisbury, Jr. and Elizabeth M. (Phaneuf) Voisinet, and a stepdaughter of Edwin J. Voisinet.
Barbara was employed by the North Kingstown School Department where she worked for over 30 years.
She was the loving sister of Elmer E. Salisbury, III (wife, Diane) of North Kingstown, Ann M. Armstrong (husband, Kevin) of Exeter, Jeff J. Salisbury (wife, Beth) of Maine, and John E. Voisinet (wife, Joy) of Westerly; and stepsister of Janine Carlson (husband, Todd) of Coventry and Stephen Voisinet of Warwick. Barbara is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A private burial service will be held in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown.
