Charlotte E. Baker Obituary

Baker, Charlotte E. (Hogberg), 97, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was the wife of the late Kenneth R. Baker, Jr., mother of Kenneth R. Baker of Zionsville, IN, Carol J. Schmedinghoff, Sorrento, FL, Bethany S. Richards, Wakefield, RI, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert A. Hogberg.
Charlotte was born in Providence to the late Arthur E. and Ester V. (Nordquist) Hogberg and was a lifetime resident of Cranston. Besides raising her three children, she was a seamstress and a baker for many in her church, for weddings and other special days. She was a member for many years of the former Bethany Lutheran Church and currently devoted to The Faith Chapel in Cranston. On many days you could find her working in her garden of her home. Along with the legacy of a loving family, Charlotte’s life served as a testimony of devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a service of Celebration of her life will take place at a later date. A burial in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery will be private. Should friends desire, donations in her memory will be appreciated to Faith Chapel, 43 Scituate Ave, Cranston, RI 02922.
