Danel W. Greenless, Sr. Obituary

Daniel W. Greenless Sr., 87, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Daniel and Hannah (Manders) Greenless. Mr. Greenless was employed as a mechanical engineer and a design engineer. He was a proud Navy veteran of the Korean War and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Tin Can Sailors, the USS Crompton, the USS Salem, the USS David, the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the Quonset Navy Yacht Club. He was the father of Dennis Greenless, Edward Greenless, Irene Bassett and the late Daniel Greenless, Jr. Daniel was the loving partner of Nancy Siple. He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Daniel was an avid boater.

Due to Covid, his funeral service will be held at a time to be announced with military honors in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
