Denise E. Kelly Obituary

Another angel has gone home to Heaven, Denise E. Kelly, January 3rd, 1929- August 26th, 2020. Denise was a Dot & Dash girl (morse code operator) while serving in the Navy during the Korean War. She was also the first female Deputy sheriff in the state of Pennsylvania. A mother of five, Sean, Howard, Colleen, Kevin and Dean. She is survived by her children Colleen and Dean, her grandchildren Nicole, Jennifer, Eric, Dean and Ariana. Yet, her Legacy will live on forever. She inspired everyone she met and touched every soul. Her infectious laugh could sooth the most troubled heart and her kind words were always uplifting. She was a strong woman and truly selfless person who has now gone with our Lord.

Visiting hours Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 4-6 PM with a service to follow at 6 PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Face masks and social distancing required.
