Francis H. "Frank" Kowalik, Sr. Obituary

Francis H. “Frank” Kowalik, Sr., 79, died Wednesday, October 21, 2020. He was the husband of the late Alice S. (Goulet) Kowalik, and son of the late Stephen J. and Leona (Benjamin) Kowalik. Frank was the owner and nursing home administrator of the Avalon Nursing Home since 1964. He served with the Army Reserves for many years. An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of the Valley Country Club. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa J. Kowalik, Cheryl A. Dauray, and two sons, Francis H. Kowalik, Jr. and his wife, Sandy Rhee-Kowalik, and David S. Kowalik and his wife Colleen M. Kowalik. He was the father-in-law of the late John H. Tucker, Jr. and Gary M. Dauray. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Jordan and Nathan Dauray, Susanne and John Tucker, Zachary, David S., Jr., and Candis Kowalik. He was the brother of the late Lillian Robinson, Blanche Gagne, and Stephen G. Kowalik.

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 4-7 PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10 AM in St. Clement Church, Long Street, Warwick. Burial will be private. Social distancing will be observed.
