Obituary

Louis A. Capracotta, Jr., 86, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Roberta A. (Pisano) Capracotta. Born in North Providence, a son of the late Louis A. and Pauline (Ayotte) Capracotta. Mr. Capracotta was an oil burner technician for 26 years for the former Buckley and Scott Oil Company before retiring in 1995. He was a Greenville resident for 42 years, attended The New England Technical School and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 251. He loved camping and being with his family. He also loved music, playing the accordion and keyboard.
In addition to his wife, Roberta, he was the father of Michael E. Capracotta (Gemma)of Coconut Creek, FL, Louis A. Capracotta, III (Bambi) of N. Providence, Debra F. Kenney (Louis) of N. Providence, Alan R. Capracotta (Donna) of Greenville, Cheryl R. Marcotte (Donald) of Greenville and Diane P. Kumar (Santosh) of Greenville. He was the grandfather of Jenna Godin, Edward Kenney, Alan Kenney, Alicia Hanosky, Cassandra Hanosky, Nicole Capracotta and Samantha Capracotta. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. He was the brother of Anna Spaulding of Warwick and the late Laura Taylor, Carolyn Morrissey, Stephen and Robert Capracotta.
Visitation in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., (Rt.44) Greenville, Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 4-7PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 7PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., 2nd flr., Framingham, MA 01701 will be appreciated.
