Obituary

William S. Hazard, III, 61, a retired employee of the US Postal Service, passed away, Sunday, March 31, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Karen L. (Brown) Hazard for 29 years. Born in Warwick he was a son of the late William S. and Grace M. (Beagan) Hazard, Jr. William was the loving father of Christopher S. Hazard; brother of Karen R. Cooper, Stephen R. Hazard, and his wife Peggy, and Thomas J. Hazard; uncle of Mokanna Weir, Stephanie Fagnant, and Kristy Brown. Mr. Hazard was a US Marine Corp. veteran of the US invasion of Grenada.

His funeral service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 10:30 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Tomorrow Fund - RI Hospital Campus, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903 will be appreciated.
